About Us
Rob McReynolds - President & Project Manager
Hired by D & D Roofing, Inc. as a Project Manager in 1987, Rob has 25
years experience in the roofing industry. Rob became co-owner of D & D
Roofing in 1997. He is responsible for preparing estimates, overseeing
projects, quality control, and customer service in the commercial
division. Rob has managed a variety of projects for high-rise office
buildings in Denver (involving helicopters to complete the job) and
prestigious resorts in Vail. His most notable projects include American
Furniture Warehouses, the Ultimate Soundtrack Facility, Lakewood City
Commons, Samsonite Warehouse, Ralston Valley High School, Centennial
Promenade Shopping Center, Westminster Mall, and Belmar Library. Rob
served as President of the Colorado Roofing Association in 2003-04 and
is currently serving a three-year term on the NRCA Board of Directors.
John Beckham - Vice President & Project Manager
Hired by D & D Roofing, Inc. in 1991, John has 33 years experience in
the roofing industry. John became co-owner of D & D Roofing in 1997.
He is responsible for large commercial accounts. He prepares estimates,
oversees projects, quality control, and customer service. John's
accounts include Aurora, Jefferson County, Boulder Valley, St. Vrain,
and Denver Public Schools. Some of his notable projects include various
Albertson's grocery stores, IBM, and the U.S. Mint in Denver. John
works with over 40 property management firms. John's expertise is
managing million dollar projects.
Melissa Baumgartner - Project Coordinator
Melissa joined D & D Roofing, Inc. in 1999. Her experience in management,
accounting, and marketing offers the project management team a broad
range of resources. Melissa is responsible for managing the estimating
team at D & D Roofing from the development of a lead to the final
closeout of each project. Melissa has been instrumental in developing
and implementing alternative methods of hiring and maintaining
efficiency and superior customer service to all of our clients.
Bill Barnes - Safety Director
Bill was hired by D & D Roofing in 1995. Bill oversees the compliance of
all safety and health regulations for both the flat and sloped divisions
of D & D Roofing. Bill has received training and certification for
asbestos, OSHA, and fall protection. In addition to conducting safety
meetings for new hires, Bill performs on-site safety inspections at each
project. He also oversees all Human Resources activities. Prior to
working for D & D Roofing, Bill gained knowledge of safety procedures in
the oil industry.
Vaughn Beckham - Project Manager
Vaughn has been with D & D Roofing since 1991 and has over 28 years of
experience in the roofing industry. Vaughn served as a single-ply
foreman for D & D Roofing for 15 years. He has worked on many
noteworthy projects, including Bank One, GSA-FDOT, and Bass Pro Shops.
Vaughn has transferred his roofing knowledge from the field to the
office. As a Project Manager, he is responsible for estimating and
managing projects from start to completion. Vaughn's main goal is to
maintain a high standard of quality control.
Richard Claypool - Commercial Superintendent
Richard has been supervising flat commercial roofing crews with D & D
Roofing since 1992. He started roofing in 1972 in California, moved to
Denver and roofed at United Roofing. Since then he has been
superintendent of Canfield Roofing, Bauen Corporation, and D & D
Roofing. With over 30 years in the roofing industry, he is responsible
for overseeing the installation of all flat roofing projects, quality
control, and coordinating with owners and construction superintendents
to provide a timely and quality product.
Chris Frey - Project Manager
Chris joined D & D Roofing in 2003. He has over 23 years experience in
commercial construction including structural skylights, sheet metal, and
roofing. His main focus is commercial roofing projects. Chris's
background includes estimating, project management, sales, and
administration. Chris has extensive safety training, including OSHA
40-hour certification. His most recent notable projects include the
Bass Pro Shops, Denver Art Museum, Executive Tower, and the new
Children's Hospital Medical Office Building.
John Gleason - Project Manager
John joins D & D staff in February of 2008. He comes to us with 23
years experience in the architectural sheet metal industry, and a
combined 13 years in roofing and drafting. John has honed his skills
with a large east-coast roofing and sheet metal company. He returns to
Denver, where he originally started his roofing career.
John is involved with the Colorado High School Athletics Association as
an official. He also enjoys softball, bicycling, golf and camping.
Mike Ortega - Project Manager
Mike joins D & D Roofing in 2006 as the newest Project Manager. With
over 15 years of experience in the roofing industry, Mike will be
responsible for estimating, project management, sales, and
administration for the sloped roofing division. Mike has experience
with numerous types of roofing systems and will be responsible for both
residential and commercial sloped roofing projects.
Jeff Roy - Assistant Project Manager
Jeff returned to D & D full-time in June, 2007, after graduation from
the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a BA in psychology. We
lovingly refer to him as the staff psychologist.
Jeff has three summers experience on our flat roofing crew while he
attended CU, and is currently working on a Construction Management
certificate program through CSU.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and spending
time with friends. We look forward to our sessions with Jeff.
Agustin Salas - Residential Superintendent
Agustin returns to D & D in February of 2008, with 12 years experience
in shingle and flat work. Born and raised in Mexico, Agustin has live
in the US for 20 years, and is a welcome addition as one of our
bilingual superintendents.
Agustin is married and has three children, ages 18, 16 & 13. His
interests outside of work are cars, and projects around his house. We
welcome Agustin back to the D & D family.
Kenny Schmitt - Service Superintendent
Kenny has over 25 years of experience in the Colorado roofing industry.
He joined the D & D Roofing team in 1991 as a service foreman and worked
his way up to Superintendent for the service department. He manages
several crews that are responsible for leak investigations, repairs, and
tenant finish improvement projects. He has experience in all phases of
roofing, but specializes in finding leaks and completing roof
evaluations and inspections.
Brian Walters - Controller, CPA
Brian entered the D & D Roofing family early in 2003 and immediately
worked with our outside accounting firm performing our annual financial
statement audit. From the moment Brian started, he has taken on any
additional responsibilities thrown his way. With all accounting
functions reporting directly to him, as well as responsibility for a
yearly audit of the financial statements, he performs all federal and
state reporting for payroll, sales and use and local tax returns.
Financial statement analysis and cash management keep him busy on a
day-to-day basis and yearly analysis of insurance programs are
additional duties. Brian has over 15 years experience in large corporate
environments and is an alumni of a Big 4 Accounting firm. His experience
in accounting, finance and insurance has been a tremendous asset in
helping D & D Roofing become a leader in Colorado.
John Weber - Project Manager
John came to D & D Roofing in 1993. With over 25 years of roofing
experience, John has moved from the field, to Residential
Superintendent, and most recently Project Manager. His experience
includes numerous types of roofing systems for both low slope and steep
slope. As Project Manager, John's focus is estimating and managing roof
replacements, new construction, and large repair projects in the slope
division.

The approval requirements to obtain standing in JM's Summit Club are 3500 squares of guarantee work or 20 guarantee jobs per year, formal safety program, and a business plan commitment.
